36 Holes of Nicklaus- Designed Golf

Immaculate conditions, perfect fairways and impeccably manicured greens at the Prospector and Lost Gold Golf Course have won rave reviews from the many professional golfers who play here. The two courses combine for what are truly 36 holes of spectacular golf unlike any in Arizona.

Prospector Course

Designed by a legend. Ideal for a legendary golf experience. Welcome to the Jack Nicklaus course that's inviting for a broad range of golfing skills, yet still sought after by professionals.

The Prospector Golf Course, which opened in 1998, combined the creative skills of Jack Nicklaus and his son Gary. The designers have delivered a community-based course with inspirational vistas, fairways that are wide and friendlly, and green speeds that are faster than at some major tournaments.

This Nicklaus course has been the site of the 2002 Countrywide Tradition tournament and the home of the LPGA Safeway International from 2004 to 2008. And recently the Prospector Golf Course was selected by Golfweek magazine as one of the “Top 100 Residential Courses.”

Lost Gold Course

A links-style desert golf course, the Lost Gold Course maintains the Superstition Mountain reputation for playability and meticulous conditions.

Jack Nicklaus teamed with son Jack Jr. to design this desert golf course, which opened in 1999. The links-style course offers generous fairways, and it possesses greater shot value than the Prospector Course, due to slightly smaller greens and strategic bunker placements.

The Lost Gold Course was the site of the 2002 Senior Slam, when Fuzzy Zoeller edged Don Pooley by one stroke to win the $300,000 top prize.
